January 12th during the half time of the Men's Basketball game we will recognize all the former Lake Land College Cheerleaders. Doesn't matter what year you cheered, you are invited back to be walk onto that gym floor one more time! We might even put you in a stunt or two so come prepared!!! We have several 'famous' former cheerleaders such as Kenna, who's a DJ on The X Radio. Debby Pflum Henningsen who is married to Brian Henningsen and mother to Clara and Aaron Henningsen who have the hit song "American Beautiful" currently playing on country stations nationwide. Many of our former cheerleaders have gone on to cheer at the university level. We are so proud to say that Karl Brown from Ramsey is currently cheering at SIU-C and Morgan Hissong of Mattoon is a cheerleader at Mizzou! Many of our former cheerleaders have also gone on to become successful cheerleading coaches themselves! We will display photo's of former cheerleaders, and please feel free to bring photo's to display that you may take home with you that night. Please let coach Tammy know if you plan to attend by emailing her at tboeser@lakeland.cc.il.us. When you enter, please give the young ladies your name for a nametag with the year you cheered. Afterwards everyone is invited to the Custom Smokehouse (just a couple of miles north of Lake Land) for socializing.
