Lake Land Choir performs concert in theatre (April 26, 1998): Although not the school’s first concert—that was a Christmas concert in 1968, under the direction of Mrs. Ned Van Voohris—Dr. Nancy Caldwell’s Community Choir concert in the spring of 1998 was the first in over a decade. The choir, comprised of students, faculty, staff, and members from the community, performed “a variety of secular and sacred music” during the first performance, as well as a special appearance by the Effingham Children’s Chorus.
