Lake Land College hosts Lakers Live television and radio program

Lakers Live, a half hour radio program, debuted Monday, Jan. 25 with guest Cedric Brown, men’s basketball coach.  Lakers Live is an interview program produced by students of the Lake Land College Radio-Television Department.  The show features Lake Land College coaches, players and others associated with Laker Athletics.

Schumacher named new Lake Land College Foundation Board member

Chuck Schumacher, Effingham, was recently appointed to the Lake Land College Foundation Board of Directors. “I wanted a way to get involved with an organization that has such a positive influence on our local economy and workforce,” said Schumacher. He also expressed that being a part of this institution is important to him because of its impact on the Effingham community.
